“Thank you Ignition Creative for making a complex project very easy.”
“Ignition helped create a schedule and timeline to ensure our Annual Insurance Law Review Casebook met its release date. They worked with us to ensure each milestone was met.
Ignition turned around proofs quickly and accurately. Despite multiple email edits and over 200 pages of individual case notes — nothing was missed. They made us a priority and their attention to detail put our minds at ease every step of the way. I highly recommend Ignition Creative to any organisation requiring support from a professional creative agency.”

FEATURED PROJECT
Annual Insurance Law Review Casebook
Barry Nilsson is a national law firm with offices across Australia. The Barry Nilsson Insurance Law Review Casebook was a long format digital publication that presented cases from 2013 and 2014. For each case included, it presented the facts, the decision and a brief overview of each case.
Barry Nilsson Lawyers (BNL) engaged our publication graphic design team, to update the casebook and bring it in line with the tone and style of their brand. The challenge we faced was the length and state of the current casebook. In fact, it was almost 220 pages total. And we had to be very careful preserve the design and formatting from the original document that BNL supplied to us.
As a first step, we created concepts for both page layout and infographic design. We had to ensure that the document followed Barry Nilsson’s style guide, before rolling out the design to the remaining pages.
We added modern, interactive elements, including a hyperlinked contents page and buttons for each case that linked directly to the Barry Nilsson website. These links were all set up directly within InDesign to ensure a smooth file prep process in case any future edits needed to be made to the document.
The project had a tight turnaround that relied heavily on strict deadlines and proofing processes. The Ignition publication graphic design team worked closely with Barry Nilsson to achieve this deadline, and supply a document that was both on brand and easy to use.
